Hi..
I am pretty sure I am saying hi to myself now because probably nobody will be reading my blog anymore.. lol but whatever.
I can't believe it's already OCTOBER.
After November and December, I will become a senior..
(this is because Korean academic year is totally the reverse? of America. We start in March and finish in January)
I took my finals-mid finals to be exact- last week. I only take six subjects
math
korean
english
french
chemistry
law
lol "law"
it's really about the korean government and the korean law. It's actually my favorite subject.
My least favorite is chemistry without doubt.
I just dont have the passion for small atoms and equations and all those..math
I guess class with Mrs Sadovnik was pretty interesting..but with the teachers I have now,
ugh.. no thankyou.
I have four chemistry classes!!!!
which means FOUR DIFFERENT TEACHERS
and this is insane because I am liberal arts. Not natural science!!!
(Here, I mean Korea, when we get to grade 11, we divide classes depending whether you are a liberal or natural science.)
In Korea, high school starts with grade 10. So elementry is like
123456 grade
middle school is
7,8 9 grade
and high school is
10 11 12 grade
And I am in my 11th grade..
it's funny to be in the 11th.. I mean you get to have 10th graders to kida boss around sometimes, but have to be careful around seniors not to get caught in the act lol
so there are four chemistry teachers and they all have their distinct personalities
1. The WRITE-EVERYTHING-I-WRITE type
OMG. FU**THIS TEACHER.
SHE LITERALLY MAKES US WRITE EVERY BLOODY WORD SHE WRITES ON THE BOARD.
I NEED TO UPLOAD A PHOTO TO DESCRIBE THIS... THIS...I cant even think up a word to describe her
2. I STUDIED-FROM-ENGLAND type
This teacher, no joking, looks like
okay, maybe her eyes(my teacher's) are not that far apart. but
she has an extremely long neck and her movements are pretty sloppy (just like Sid)
Whenever she feels like she wants to be venerated or feels like nobody is paying attention to her, she always brings up her stories how she went to England to study biology at Cambridge..
I admit she is extremely intelligent and all.. but when she starts teaching, SORRY MRS ,BUT JUST DOESNT SEEM LIKE IT. all she does is LOOK AT MY PPT. WHICH REMINDS ME....
3. LOOK-AT-MY-PPT type
Okay. these type teachers are the worse because all they do is point to their screen with a stick and talk to the screen.
I dont think these types of teachers have in mind that there actually are students sitting in the room. She talks as if she is having a duel conversation with the screen.
4. I-DON'T-KNOW-WHAT-I-AM-TEACHING-SORRY-GURLS
The last chemistry teacher.. she is around I think 52 and starting to show symptoms of dementia.or just simple obliviousness
She keeps on repeating the same class materials and I honestly dont learn anything from her since I dont understand a single word she says...
but i am sure that's it's only me who is struggling with her class.... D:
