What is hard about English

Recently, I started reading Jerusalem post.
I started reading newspapers because wanted to know what is happening in this country.
Well yes, I could go to CNN or BBC to read online news about Israel. But it doesn't seem real as reading an actual paper that is made from Israel.
Since English is my second language, it's a real challenge to understand what the article is talking about, not that I don't read well...
So I made a list of English things that I find it so hard to get used to...

1. I was reading a Sports section article (about Copa America Argentina 2011)
Suarez, voted player of the tournament, put Uruguay ahead in the 12th minute of the final at the Monumental when his low, left footed shot from the right beat the diving Justro Villar and went in off the far post.
I find this hard to understand... So Suarez kicked a book from his left book... to.. the right...
beat the diving Justro Villar....

2. Ten minutes later, Paraguay right back Ivan Piris took a ball out wide and crossed low with keeper Fernando Muslera diving at centre back Paulo da Sialva's feet to save.

it's a long sentence. so .. Ivan.. crossed low? to the goal keeper who... dived centre back to Paulo to save the ball...

I think English is hard for me in a way that can't be explained in words...
also, did you know what a hat-trick is?
it's when a soccer player shoots 3 goals in one game!
amazing.

Actually, when I was in elementary school at Australia, the girl soccer team needed someone to be a keeper. And they begged me to be one because I had the right... body... hahah
and then I had a real hard time telling them that I was not interested in soccer..:P

Anyway, the Copa America is like the world cup except that only South Americans can play. Like how only European countries are allowed to play at the Euro Cup.
I don't know about you, but I find it weird.. how Israel plays in Euro cup...
oh oh and did you know that in 2002, Korea held a world cup with Japan???
I know right!
WITH JAPAN.
and we got to the Quarter finals~~~
but... we lost.
I don't remember exactly which country we lost against to...
because that was a year before I left Korea for Australia... and I was in 1st grade when I left to Down Under.

Red is the color of our soccer team. So at 2002, Koreans gathered at the city square wearing red shirt to cheer for KORREREREAAAA:3
